We offer psychotherapy in English, Spanish, French and Swahili, while tailoring our services to individual needs. We offer short, medium and long-term therapy for individuals, couples, family and groups.
Services Included:
Individual Psychotherapy
Individual psychotherapy will assist you in consciously and purposely dealing with controlling your past and present consistent emotions in order to reshape your daily and future life experiences.
Marital & Couple Psychotherapy
Our clinicians will assist couples in understanding and implementing the key ingredients of a successful relationship such as true friendship, respect, sacrifice for unity in the relationship, and effective communication.
Women Issues
With the knowledge that women:
- Have different healthcare needs than men
- Struggle with self-esteem, body image and sexuality concerns
- Are overwhelmed with care-taking roles, your therapist will give your issue the attention it deserves and journey with you in moving forward.
Family & Groups Psychotherapy
Based on the concept that family is a unique social system, with a structural system, and patterns of communication, we believe that dysfunction in one family member could be a symptom of a larger family problem. We therefore consider the whole family in treatment by teaching families about how families generally function, characteristics that lead to dysfunction, effective communication patterns etc.
Marriage Preparation
The same way one plans, for his/her education, career, retirement, or purchasing a new home, it is important to also prepare for your married life. We offer packages for marriage preparation. These consist of 3 or more sessions. This investment in your relationship before marriage, will produce rewards such as a happy, lifelong marriage of genuine friendship, openness, and all the characteristics that are core ingredients for a happy marriage. This marriage preparation program is excellent for engaged couples referred to us by churches, marriage service providers, or our clients.
Surviving Bankruptcy
Undergoing bankruptcy can result in damaging psychological effects on an individual or couple. Bankruptcy can lead to an identity crisis, worry about social stigma, or into major depression. Your clinician will normalize your feelings, support you in coping, while letting you know that bankruptcy laws exist for a reason, and that you are going to be wiser and more responsible after some lessons learned.
