Dr. Caroline Kristo Ph.D., LMFT
Apart from holding a BA degree in Psychology, minoring in French, Dr. Kristo further holds a M.Sc., degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and a Ph.D. in Family Studies from Loma Linda University. She is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has served in numerous positions such as Mental Health Services Supervisor, Consulting Bilingual Psychotherapist, Clinical Psychotherapist, and Life Coach. Dr. Kristo is also a member of University faculty. She firmly believes that in addition to finding solutions to problems, therapy is also effective in: a) Getting to know yourself better; b) Setting and achieving personal and/or professional goals; c) Getting in touch with emotions, and learning how to express and manage them. Therapy can also assist in understanding how our past affects our present. Dr. Kristo will work collaboratively with you as you seek a more balanced, and fulfilling life. She accomplishes this by customizing therapy to suite clients by drawing from Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solutions Focused and Structural Family Therapy. Dr. Kristo is also a speaker and author. She strives to fulfill her mission and purpose through therapy, teaching, coaching and mentoring others into becoming happier, healthier and highly productive!
